LVE dotSMS 2.0 brings about exceptional value-added services to your business or organization. dotSMS is a database-driven application which allows you to tap the power of SMS technology and enables you to control the messaging functionality of the bundled mobile device/GSM modem using your laptop or desktop PC. dotSMS provides handy functionalities such as Inbox Management with unlimited storage capacity, Automated Single and Group Messenger with Message Queuing System, Contacts and Group Management with Excel/Text file Import and Export functionalities, Surveys and Poll Counting Mechanism, keyword-driven Auto-responder System, and multiple SIM Card support.

Key Features

Send Text Messages

• Send text messages to an individual number or group
• Save sent messages to outbox for future reference
• Can send messages in international languages
• Allows delivery format selection for long messages
• Can send flash (alert) messages that are immediately displayed on destination phone screen
• Specify validity period of the text message
• Allows changing of SMSC stored in modem or phone
• Supports / Filters destination numbers and SMSC number in international as well as national format
• Allows setting of minimum time delay interval for two consecutive messages to avoid delivery failure during a network busy period
• Specify maximum number of retries in case of delivery failure when sending text message

Receive Text Messages

• Option to select message memory (Phone or SIM)

Create Autoresponder / Poll System

• Create keywords and compose auto-reply messages for each
• Assign action to each keyword such as Add Sender to Address Book, Delete Sender from Address Book, Add to Poll Entries, Get Poll Result
• Create keywords for Survey / Poll counting mechanism which automatically tallies all entries
• View history and details of Poll Entries (sender, date, remarks)
• Create Poll Result retrieval keyword which sends the total count for the requested keyword (this feature is most useful for tracking survey programs, monitoring election results per locality, or conducting polls within your organization)

General Features

• All features that require serial communication are queued by the system for sequential execution
• Enable alert for received SMS and incoming calls
• Specify serial communication parameters like COM Port, Baud Rate, Stop Bits, Parity, Flow Control, etc.
• Read various modem parameters (e.g. Manufacturer, IMEI, etc)
• Specify PIN for connecting to network using PIN protected SIM
• Read various card/network information (e.g. GSM Signal Strength, Network Identification, Own Number, etc.)

Below are the minimum requirements your computer needs to install and run LVE dotSMS 2.0, but some components may need additional system resources not outlined below. All Windows components are included in the installation CD or may be downloaded for free at Microsoft.com web site.
